The Tarrant County Asian American Chamber of Commerce was chartered on November 17, 1990 under the direction of founder Mrs. Hoa Le. As a non-profit business organization we serve and promote Asian American interests;

Developing leaders in business and in service to the Asian American community.

Strengthening lines of communication with business partners, corporate sponsors, other ethnic Chambers of Commerce, and community organizations as a proactive facilitator of cultural diversity and awareness.

Offering scholarships, educational resources, and financial programs assistance with the Annual Asian College Day series.

Supporting individual and business growth with topics of interest covered in our annual small business workshop series.

Preserving our cultural heritage and promoting diversity through the annual Asian Arts & Eggroll Festival and heritage showcase each May.

Serving the Asian community through our annual free medical screening and health fair.

Recognizing individuals and businesses that demonstrate leadership and support of the Asian community at our annual awards gala.

Conducting community workshops to educate individuals and businesses on topics of interests that affect the public welfare.

According to Census 2000, there are more than one half million Asian Americans residing in the State of Texas with more than fifty thousand living and working Tarrant County. Our annual median income of $53,635 and 47% proportion of college graduates is the highest among all racial groups - and the most articulate with 63% computer literacy and 58% wired to the Internet. The six largest ethinic groups residing in the county are Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean.
